Perfect for our Family
Our family spent two nights here in the Creekside Suite from June 14-16, 2018. There were four of us, myself, my husband, and our two kids (age 9 and 11). The Creekside suite was perfect for us. The kids slept in the Murphy bed in the living area. I believe it was a queen size. My husband and I slept in the separate bedroom. There was also a sofa bed, but we never opened it. The bathroom was huge! Everything was comfortable and modern. The suite was beautiful. Definitely our favorite accommodations of our 10 day trip! The B&B is almost an hour from the Anchorage airport. And we drove directly there when we got off our flight. Michelle had a huge chocolate happy birthday cupcake for our son bc we had told her that he was turning 12 on the trip. He was so excited! And the freshly made cookies in our room were delicious. Michelle has been to culinary school, and it shows in everything she prepares. Breakfast both mornings we were there was amazing! She has a special every morning or a choice of other breakfast options. That is in addition to the fresh fruit and warm muffins that she served every morning. Best breakfasts ever! We really wished we had stayed longer than two nights. If we ever take another trip to Alaska, this will be the first accommodations that we book. They are convenient to so many things (Alyeska resort, Whittier, crow creek mine, wildlife conservation center, etc). You could definitely spend multiple days in the area and have plenty to do. Thank you Ron and Michelle for such a great start to our trip!

Comfort, kindness, views and amazing food
This B&B may top any other B&B experience you've ever had, anywhere. Michelle and Ron are hosts-with-the-mostest; from stories and helpful tips to whipping up made-to-order breakfast, you won't want to leave. Our room was extremely comfortable, had everything we needed with plenty of space. Enjoyed the hot tub and the wooded, private location. The custom-built home is absolutely stunning, you won't regret choosing Hidden Creek for your next Girdwood visit. Make sure to get hiking tips (or skiing) from the hosts, they know a ton about the area and love to share with guests.

Driving Directions to Our Girdwood, Alaska Bed & Breakfast
- Whether you are heading south from Anchorage or north from Seward, take the Seward Highway to Milepost 90.
- At the Tesoro Gas Station, turn onto the Alyeska Highway and drive 2.6 miles to Timberline Drive (just past the New Girdwood Townsite).
- Turn right on Timberline drive .2 miles to Vail Drive.
- Turn left on Vail Drive and follow this street .6 miles.
- Hidden Creek Bed & Breakfast is located at the top of the steep hill on the left side of the road. We are the last house on the street, before the road curves into the upper portion of St. Johann Loop. Our address is 739 Vail Drive.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received with 14 days or more advance notice will not be charged. Cancellations received with less than 14 days advance notice will be charged the full reservation fee. If the room is subsequently booked the fee will be refunded.

It has been said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we take this seriously at Hidden Creek Bed & Breakfast. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and freshly baked breads or muffins will be your first hints of what’s in store for breakfast. When you enter the dining room we invite you to relax and enjoy the surroundings and the lively conversation of fellow travelers. The spectacular stained glass window adds a glow of warmth and beauty to the occasion.
A menu of choices awaits you at the breakfast table! In addition to your choice of coffee, tea and juice each meal begins with freshly baked muffins, scones or breads and an assorted fruit plate. Now it is time to choose. The menu features a gourmet specialty of the day in addition to a wide variety of breakfast entrees. Many selections incorporate special-to-Alaska ingredients. Each day you will find Buttermilk Pancakes with wild Alaskan blueberries, French Toast served with pure maple syrup, Eggs any style and a lighter entree like Yogurt with homemade Granola and berries. Spicy reindeer sausage, bacon, Sourdough toast or a bagel can be added to any entree. Michelle has put her culinary skills to work making most items from scratch, using the freshest ingredients.
Breakfast at Hidden Creek may take a few minutes longer since everything you order is cooked specifically for you. So if you are in a hurry, let us know in advance so we can help you stay on schedule. Dietary restrictions are no problem, we are happy to accommodate your special needs. We invite you to start your day out right, with a delicious meal cooked especially to your tastes.
