WELCOME TO THE DENALI DOME HOME BED AND BREAKFAST

Denali Dome Home Bed and Breakfast continues to have great numbers. Helpful, Alaskan hosts start their 31st year in 2020 in a 7,200 square foot geodesic B&B with huge windows, 6 common areas and 8 bedrooms with 8 private baths. Full, cooked to order breakfasts are served from 7:30-9:00 am in the large dining area.  They have also added a vacation rental with 4 bedrooms on the same property.  Denali is their year-round home, and the Millers know Denali National Park and the area well.  It is their neighborhood. With the Millers' expertise and personal knowledge of the Denali area, guests get timely and expert advice for the best, personalized vacations.

This awarding winning Denali lodging on 10 private acres is 12 miles north and 20 minutes away from Denali National Park. The Millers provide free paved, off-street parking, free fast WiFi and free, expert tour desk advice.  They are able to save you money on railroad tickets, flights, rafting and many activities throughout the state.  Additionally, they have car rentals for those who would like to take the railroad or a bus to Denali.

When guests make reservations at Denali Dome Home B&B, they get beautiful bedrooms with private baths, a unique 7,200 sq. foot house filled with light, a business office with a computer and printer, many common gathering areas, DVD and book libraries, decks, private paved off-street parking and 10 acres of gardens and woods. Guests can add delicious, cooked-to-order breakfasts served with fresh ingredients in the Millers' dining room.

All rooms have either king or queen beds (some have extra twins), small refrigerators, private baths, phones, clocks, Wi-Fi, hair dryers, soaps, shampoo and conditioners, robes, seating areas, opening windows with screens, fire alarms, fans, extra pillows and towels and room keys. Satellite TV is available in the common area family room.  DVD movies can be played in each room.  Each room is unique and has something to offer.  There is a family room with dishes, microwave, and table and chairs if guests want to dine-in for dinners.  That area has a large stone fireplace and it leads to the porch with more tables and chairs.

Room 1

Room 1 is on the second level and has a queen bed and a twin bed.  It has a private, tiled bathroom with heated tile floor and beautiful counter.
 
There are reading lights by the bed, a desk and chair and chest of drawers.  The bedroom is near the computer room with seating and near a second level porch with table and chairs for a private setting. 
 
The room has many amenities: hair dryer, DVD player, small refrigerator, and space heater.  This room has a deep closet for extra space.  Look for the special art mural in the room crafted by a local Alaskan artist.  This room holds a maximum of three people.   Full, cooked to order breakfasts are included in the bedroom rate.

Room 2

Room 2 is a smaller, but well-appointed room on the second level with  a queen bed and private bath.  It has two touch reading lights, DVD player, and an antique desk with chair. The private bathroom has a heated tile floor and a single-person Jacuzzi tub/shower combo.  Grab bars have been added for an easier entry to the bath.
 
The bedroom is near a private viewing deck, business center and reading room. Room 2 has many amenities including a hair dryer, DVD player, a small refrigerator, and a space heater that looks like a small fireplace.  It has nice mountain views above the driveway and possible Northern Lights viewing.  This room is good for two people.  The huge window in the living room can be seen better from the area in front of Room 2.

Room 3

Room 3 is handicapped accessible and is on the main level with a king bed. It has and private bathroom with 5 grab bars and a fold-down seat in the shower. It has a chest of drawers, two reading lights and a room light, antique desk and chair.
 
It has many amenities including a hair dryer, DVD player, a small refrigerator, and a space heater. Included is a stepping stool with storage for the tall king bed. Extra pillows are in the closet.

Room 4

Room 4 is on the daylight basement level with 10 ft. ceilings, chandeliers and a large window. It is the largest room with a queen and two twin beds. It has a newly remodeled bathroom with shower, heated tile floor and in-door sauna.
 
The room has a chest of drawers, three end tables and three reading lights. By unlocking two doors, this room can open to Room 5. The tables and beds are hand crafted in cabin-style log furniture and were made especially for Denali Dome Home Bed and Breakfast.
 
It has many amenities including a hair dryer, DVD player, a small refrigerator, and a space heater. The room has a deep closet for extra space. It is decorated with true historic Alaskan art. It allows for easy entry and exiting from the front entrance. Room 4 is suitable for four people.

Room 5

Room 5 is on the daylight basement level with 10 ft. ceilings, chandeliers and a large window. It has a private entrance from the outside deck. By unlocking doors, this room can open up to Room 4.
Room 5 has HUGE sleigh king bed, armoire and chest, two end tables, reading lights and a pullout couch. Our newest remodeled private bath has a LARGE shower with heated tile floor.
 
It has many amenities including a hair dryer, DVD player, a small refrigerator, and a space heater. The room has a deep closet for extra space.
 
Room 5 can be added to Room 6 for traveling families or couples. It has a bench and a private Arctic entry to remove and store shoes and jackets.
 
Room 5 is all about the beautiful king-sized bed and special Oakwood Interior furniture. It is decorated with Alaskan art and is suitable for two, but three are possible in that room by added the pullout couch.

Room 6

Room 6 is a large room with a private entrance from the deck and is in the basement level. It has a 10 ft. ceiling and a large window. It is a large room with a queen bed, a twin bed and pullout couch. It has a comfortable lodge-look with a fishing motive.
The private tiled bath has a single person jacuzzi/tub/shower combo and a heated tile floor. The ceiling and lights have been updated this spring.
The room has a dresser, desk, reading lamps, tower clock and end tables and couch.
 
It has many amenities including a hair dryer, DVD player, a small refrigerator, and a space heater that looks like a small fireplace. The room has a deep closet for extra space. It is decorated with Alaskan photos.
 
Room 6 can be added to Room 5 for traveling families or couples. It has a bench and a private Arctic entry to remove and store shoes and jackets. Room 6 is suitable for three people, but a fourth person could be added using the pullout couch.

Room 7

Room 7 is at the top of the dome and has sky lights with shades between the windows, and a glass wall on the other side with sliding windows and curtains. It has a king bed and a private bath with shower.  A door separates the bedroom from the tiled bathroom, but there is a large opening between the two rooms.  It is a large room with one built-in desk and a cabinet. It has a table and two chairs and small refrigerator.

Room 8

Room 8, sometimes know as the “little room,” has a twin bed and a private ½ newly remodeled bathroom with heated tile floor. It is a good answer for the “extra guest” who wants his or her own space.
 
It has dresser, small closet, end table and reading lights. It has many amenities including a hair dryer, DVD player, and a small refrigerator.
 
This room is suitable for one person. It has a private toilet and sink. It has no shower. This room is on the basement level across the hall from Room 4. It has easy access in and out.
 
Room 8 is a good answer for the single, budget-minded traveler, an in-law traveling with a couple, a snorer in the group…or just someone who would enjoy more privacy. This room has the best rate with all amenities included except a private shower.

Room 9 (the rest of the house)

Room 9, the rest of the house!
Guests get much more than just a bedroom at the Denali Dome Home Bed and Breakfast. Guests get private rooms in a huge house, private, off-street parking, lawns and gardens on six acres.
 
Guests are encouraged to enjoy the living room, reading room with computer and printer, and kitchen space with dishes and a microwave in the family room that has a large satellite TV.
 
There is a good library of books especially Alaskan and DVD’s. There are board games and puzzles, and a stocked honesty bars and refrigerator. Guests are encouraged to borrow good binoculars, backpacks and walking sticks. They may use reading material, sunscreen and “bug dope” for their trips into Denali National Park.
 
The Millers are ready with late model rental cars and tour desk help to include 10% discounts on many Denali activities. Guests enjoy saving money and saving valuable vacation time with the expert advice from their hosts who are year-round Alaskans.
 
The Millers explain little details that make a big difference to their guests’ vacation into Denali. They give advice about how to take the shuttle, where to park and even what side of the bus is better. Ask about their tour desk service.
